Ability to NOT run checks at regular intervals

I have a group of checks that runs on CRON on production and that's fine; but I also have a very similar group of checks (as per your doc about dynamic checks) configured to run on Vercel deploys on pre-prod. I don't need to this second group to run on CRON intervals; the trigger by Vercel is enough.
As of today, even if set to run every 24h, these checks are totally unuseful to me. Could we select "external trigger" as a frequency option ?
