Ability to test an alerting channel

When setting up a new alert channel, e.g. adding a phone number for SMS or phone call alerts, it would be nice to be able to quickly test it.

Something like a button ‘Test channel’, which would send an SMS, do a phone call or send an email, depending on the channel type.
