Atleast 1 service API key availability in all plans

I see that the service API key is currently an Enterprise only future. But even as a startup for us this can create future problems if the person setting up leaves the org in future. So I was just wondering if there was atleast one service API key support even with basic features it might really have been useful.

Not at all a deal breaker, but from best practise stand point of view having that would have been great.
