Problem

Users want to share dashboards with internal teams or external partners and customers for SLA reporting duties. Dashboards might contain potentially sensitive information. Sharing dashboards with a hard to guess URL is not enough protection.

Solution

We want to enable switching a public dashboard to private and enabling authentication. A user would have to authenticate before being able to access the dashboard.
