Support custom OpenTelemetry resource or trace attributes for Checkly traces

We use Checkly together with OpenTelemetry tracing and would like an easier way to correlate Checkly-generated traces with our existing application traces.

Our internal traces already include a custom attribute like leanixappid, and it would be very helpful if Checkly allowed us to configure similar custom OTel metadata on its traces.

Feature request
Please add support for user-defined OpenTelemetry attributes, for example as:

• resource attributes, or

• span/trace attributes

Example:

leanixappid=my-app-id
environment=prod
team=platform-observability

Why this helps
This would make it easier to:

• correlate Checkly traces with existing traces

• filter and search traces by internal app identifiers

• align Checkly telemetry with existing observability standards
